Become Happier Faster Without Blame Or Failure

If you want to become happier and stay happy consistently:

  • Don't see any loss in unhappiness or 'bad' feelings, and then blame yourself and others for any 'failure' to be happy
  • Instead, see gains from both happiness and unhappiness, and then enjoy crediting yourself and others for any success coming from any emotion

Here's why.

Why blaming yourself & others for any 'failure' to be happy hurts you

There are 3 main reasons to stop blaming yourself or others for any lack of happiness in your life, and to instead enjoy celebrating everything you've gained and achieved:

  1. Seeing loss, failure, and assigning blame for unhappiness in your life is makes it more challenging for you to become happy: indeed, it naturally makes you feel worse instead of happier, so it's completely counter-productive

When you see loss of happiness, any failure to be happy, and then fault yourself or others for any unhappiness in your life:

  • You naturally make yourself miserable by focusing on things of negative value to you, like 'loss of happiness', and 'failure to be happy', rather than seeing any positive value for you to enjoy and be happy about
  • Furthermore, you naturally are filled with feelings of regret, as well as anger and resentment, since you blame yourself or others for this negative value
  • The overall result is that you naturally become a more and more miserable person, depending on how much loss, failure, and blame you see, rather than becoming a happier person
  • See more
  • Also, since you are focused on blaming yourself and others for any lack of happiness in your life, rather than focusing on what you can do to become happier, you have less energy and motivaton to take action to become happier
  • As a result, you predictably do less things to become happier, and you predictably stay unhappy, rather than becoming happier
  • So, for many different reasons, seeing loss of happiness, any failure to be happy, and blaming yourself and others for feeling bad makes you feel worse and prevents you from becoming happier

  1. Celebrating gains and success coming from both happiness and unhappiness helps you become happier faster and easier: indeed, it already naturally makes you feel happier, which is exactly what you want

When you see gains and success coming from both happiness and unhappiness, and enjoy crediting yourself and others for these positive outcomes:

  • You naturally make yourself happier by focusing on things of positive value to you, like gains and success coming from both happiness and unhappiness
  • You also appreciate yourself and others more, due to crediting yourself and others for these positive outcomes
  • An additionaly benefit is that you are naturally more confident in yourself and your abilities due to giving yourself credit for your role in positive outcomes
  • See more
  • Also, focusing on gains, success, and what you've achieved is inherently energizing and motivating, so you're naturally more motivated to find ways to gain from any emotion you feel, whether it's 'good' or 'bad'
  • As a result, you predictably do find ways to gain from both happiness and unhappiness
  • This makes you a naturally happier, more successful person overall, and if you ever feel bad, you naturally 'move on' and start feeling better again faster and easier

  1. Since you can gain from both happiness and unhappiness, it makes complete sense to celebrate gains and success coming from all different types of emotions

When you think of how useful, constructive, and effective it is to credit yourself and others for gains coming from both happiness and unhappiness, it already makes sense to adopt this positive mindset.

However, it also makes sense to think positively in this way for these additional reasons:

  • When you consider how 'bad' feelings are alerts that signal you to opportunities for improvement in your life, it doesn't make any sense at all to see any 'loss' or 'failure' in being unhappy, much less blame yourself or others for feeling unhappy
  • Instead, it makes way more sense to see any 'bad' feelings or unhappiness as a clear sign that your mind functions and processes emotions, and that you can find a way to profit and gain from these alerts in some way
  • For example, 'bad' feelings alert you to negative thoughts that you can eliminate and replace wth more positive thoughts, and immediately improve your life and well-being as a result
  • See more
  • This means that even if you don't enjoy experiencing 'negative' emotions, you can still learn and benefit from them in some way, and use them as a catalyst to improve your life
  • With this understanding, happiness is clearly a wonderful gain that you can enjoy and celebrate, but you can also find gains to celebrate and enjoy coming from 'bad' feelings as well, even if you want to always eliminate negative emotions as soon as possible
  • And, overall, this means that it makes complete sense to accept that you can gain from both happiness and unhappiness, and to always celebrate and appreciate this success
