Think Positive And Be Optimistic About Changing Your Thinking

I have a hard time thinking positive. And I can't stop my negative thinking. I'll never be a positive thinker...

If you're pessimistic about becoming a more positive thinker... You're already thinking less positively. In fact, you're thinking negatively, since pessimism is one of the most common forms of negative thinking

That's the first important thing to realize. 

The other important thing to realize is that pessimism about becoming a more positive thinker:

  • Kills your energy and motivation to take any action to think more positively
  • This predictably makes it more challenging for you to think positive thoughts
  • Or maybe even prevents you from thinking positively at all

The overall lesson: pessimism is not only useless for becoming a more positive thinker... It makes it hard to be positive and is completely counter-productive in every single way!

How optimism about thinking more positively helps you

If you're optimistic about becoming a more positive thinker... You're already thinking more positively, which is exactly what you want, in the first place! After all, optimism is, in and of itself, a powerful form of positive thinking.

That's the first important thing to realize. 

The other important thing to realize is that optimism about becoming a more positive thinker:

  • Increases your energy and motivation to take action to think more positively
  • This predictably makes it easier for you to think more positive thoughts and stay positive
  • So you naturally have a lot more success thinking positively and becoming a more positive thinker

The overall lesson: optimism is not only useful for becoming a more positive thinker... It's a form of positive thinking in and of itself!

Why optimism about thinking more positively makes sense

Clearly, being optimistic about becoming a more positive thinker is highly beneficial and very sensible. Not only does it help you become a more positive thinker faster and easier, but it is also a form of positive thinking in and of itself that helps you keep a positive attitude. 

In addition to this, it also makes sense to be optimistic about becoming a more positive thinker for the following reasons:

  • Becoming a more positive thinker is simply a matter of learning how to change the way you think, and you are fully capable of changing your thinking (after all, this is what learning is all about!)
  • You are using tools and a program that makes it even easier for you to learn how to replace negative thinking with positive thinking 
  • The more you learn how to replace negative thoughts with more positive ones, the easier it is for you to remain positive (so becoming a more positive thinker only gets easier and easier from here)

Bottom line, you've got every reason in the world, right now, to be optimistic about becoming a more positive thinker, rather than being a pessimist about this. 

But if you're not highly optimistic at this point, that's fine. At the very least, just be open to the possibility that you can become a more positive thinker, ok? (That's enough to energize and motivate your mind to make mental changes that will help you think more positively.)

Right now, complete this achievement by taking steps that will help you be more optimistic about becoming a more positive thinker. This, of course, will naturally help you become a more positive thinker faster and easier.
