  • This type of added stress digs you deeper into the "unhappiness hole" and makes it more challenging for you to become happier; in such a way, you now decrease your success and achievement in becoming happier by making it a more challenging process.

Start believing that it's ok to be unhappy, and that it is ok, great, and preferable to be happy

Here's why there's great value in this type of positive thinking:

  • You have more peaceful feelings whenever you're unhappy, due to believing that it's ok to be unhappy, and these peaceful feelings naturally make it easier for you to become happier.
  • Since you see being happy as being ok, great, and preferable to you -- rather than seeing it as the "right" state to be -- you are naturally more motivated to achieve something you want, instead of forcing yourself to do the "right" thing.
  • So overall, you have a lot more success and achievement in becoming happier, especially because you're becoming happier in a more peaceful, enjoyable , natural manner.

  • Happiness and unhappiness are two natural feelings that every human being experiences at one time or another, so it makes sense to see both of them as being ok and simply a part of being human.
  • Happiness feels good and is inherently more enjoyable than unhappiness, so it makes sense to see happiness as great and preferable to unhappiness, even though unhappiness can be a catalyst for positive change.
  • If you want to be happier, it makes complete sense to believe that both unhappiness and happiness are ok, while valuing happiness more than unhappiness, since this belief naturally helps you become happier faster and easier!
