Create Confidence That You Can Accept, Handle, And Gain From All Sorts Of Outcomes

Change Your Thinking

You can achieve being happier faster and easier by changing the way you think.

For this achievement, you'll learn how to change your thinking so that you:

  • Stop believing that you can't accept or handle negatively-valued possibilities occurring, and that you can't gain from these instances in any way
  • Start believing that you can accept and handle negatively-valued possibilities occurring, and that you can even learn and benefit from these instances in some way

To do this, learn why the first way of thinking doesn't help you or make sense, while the second one does, and then make choices based on what you've learned.

Stop believing that you can't accept or handle negatively-valued possibilities occurring, and that you can't gain from these instances in any way

Here's why there's no value in this type of negative thinking:

  • You feel less powerful, have less strength and capabilities, and have a lower sense of self-worth due to believing that you can't accept or handle negatively-valued possibilities occurring. So overall, you already have less happiness and enjoyment and less peace of mind. And by believing that you can't gain from these types of instances in any way, you already reduce (or eliminate) your chances of happiness, if they occur.
  • You have less energy and motivation to handle negatively-valued possibilities that occur, due to believing that you "can't" do it. So you have less success in handling these occurrences, thereby "proving" to yourself that you can't do it.
  • Your self-confidence decreases the more you "prove" to yourself that you can't accept and handle negatively-valued possibilities occurring. This makes it more challenging to handle these instances, and it naturally fills you with a sense of dread and fear of these possibilities occurring. This creates stress in your mind and body and reduces the quality of your sleep, making you more fatigued.

Start believing that you can accept and handle negatively-valued possibilities occurring, and that you can even learn and benefit from these instances in some way

Here's why there's great value in this type of positive thinking:

  • You feel more powerful, have more strength and capabilities, and have a higher sense of self-worth due to believing that you can accept and handle negatively-valued possibilities occurring. So overall, you already have more happiness and enjoyment and more peace of mind. And by believing that you can even gain from these types of instances, you increase your chances of happiness, if they occur.
  • You have more energy and motivation to accept and handle negatively-valued possibilities that occur, due to believing that you can do it, and due to believing that you can even gain from these instances. So you have more success in handling these occurrences and benefiting from them, thereby proving to yourself that you can accept, handle, and benefit from all sorts of scenarios.
  • Your self-confidence increases the more you prove to yourself that you can accept, handle, and even gain from negatively-valued possibilities occurring. This makes it easier to handle these instances, and it naturally fills you with a greater sense of peace about these possibilities occurring. This relaxes your mind and body and improves the quality of your sleep, making you even stronger.

Enjoy a beneficial change that makes sense

  • If a negatively-valued possibility occurs, you can choose to accept it or not. And since you can make this choice, it makes sense to believe that you can accept negatively-valued possibilities that occur. Also, if these types of instances occur, you will already handle them, whether you like it or not. It's just a matter of how you handle them. So it makes sense to believe that you can handle them.
  • If you look back over your life, you'll find instances of negatively-valued possibilities occurring that you were able to accept and handle. This already proves that you can do it, so it makes sense to believe that you can do it. Also, you might even find that some unpleasant occurrences turned out to be wonderful for you in hindsight. So it makes sense to believe that you can gain from these instances.
  • When you reflect upon all your capabilities and how you have been able to handle unpleasant instances in the past, it makes sense to believe that you can accept and handle negatively-valued possibilities occurring. And when you consider how you can learn from these types of instances, and grow stronger with what you've learned, it makes sense to believe that you can benefit from these instances.
